| (...) I spoke a little briefly the last time about the beautiful exhibition that Pierre Girieud just did at Druet so I want to say how much the landscapes that we saw there had seduced me. I think Girieud is essentially a landscaper. He knew how to understand and express the character of one of the most beautiful region of France in such a way that we can only regret that he too often uses his profession and his gifts to achieve these nudes and these classic compositions for which he has a serious predilection.
