| Druet gallery, around Pierre Girieud, a small group of artists who listened to his lesson and adopted some of his directions. Pierre Girieud is a neoclassical, derived from Poussin and probably led to this trend as much by its brightness of Provencal as its taste of wide horizon and a quasi-Latin landscape. The painting he calls composition is very representative of his aesthetic and accumulates in a limited setting beauties of green and tree-like perspectives where bare bodies play.
