| (....) The exhibition, a true retrospective of the work of Lois Audibert, presents 80 paintings, pastels, drawings made from 1902 to 1972, i.e. during a period of 70 years during which the great painter is entirely devoted to his art.
Besides Audibert's work, there is also a selection of paintings executed by his friends, among others: Mathieu Verdilhan, whose 100th anniversary of birth will be celebrated this year, Chabaud, Pascin, Kisling, Leprin, Marquet, Camoin, Berthet , Friesz, Girieud, Father Adrien Cabasson, Hayden, Bouche, Eichaker, Frégier, Lhote, Prud'homme, Lombard, etc. (....) |
