| The layout of the Salon was affected by the rule imposed on artists to send, along with a new work, one of their oldest. To mark the evolution of free art, it was necessary to start with the oldest members. We therefore gave up the alphabetical order to adopt the chronological order, and the items were distributed by periods. Nothing is happier than this provision.
